Arithmetic Maze is a grid puzzle: you move step by step, updating a running total with numbers or operations on cells until you hit a target at the exit. It rehearses mental arithmetic and path search inside this ruleset—not a professional training program and not proof of workplace or exam gains.
How Arithmetic Maze works
You start from a given value, choose a route through the maze, and apply each cell you cross. Wrong branches can overshoot the target or trap you, so you backtrack and compare alternatives—classic puzzle trial and error.
Planning within the grid
Good runs mean looking a few steps ahead and keeping partial totals in mind. That is planning for this maze, not a normed score of “executive function.”
Arithmetic drill
Because totals update as you walk, you get repeated, contextual arithmetic. Treat accuracy here as game skill; real-world money or safety decisions still deserve careful checks outside the browser.
Spatial layout only
You visualize routes on a small board. Any analogy to architecture or navigation is illustrative, not a credential.
Limits
- No diagnosis: Pure entertainment and math practice.
- Transfer not automatic: Clearest payoff is getting better at similar puzzles.
